BRISTOL APPLIANCE REPAIR
Google Business Profile & Website SEO
June – September 2026
Bristol Appliance Repair services high-end and built-in appliances across Orange County, California: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Bosch, KitchenAid, and GE Monogram. In this niche, customers search by brand, and every job is a high-value one.
When we started in June 2026, the reputation was already strong (32 Google reviews at 5.0), but the profile was hard to find:
| Starting point, June 2026 | |
|---|---|
| Core keywords not ranking on the local grid | 7 of 14 |
| Typical grid position for the rest | ~20 |
| Profile views per month | 155 |
| Calls / direction requests per month | 3 / 0 |
| Key Citation Score | 43/100 |
| Website Authority Score | 8 |
The website, bristolappliancerepair.us, had one more problem: its name. Part of its early visibility went to searches for Bristol the city (“appliance repair bristol”), traffic that could never turn into an Orange County customer.
WHAT WE DID
Google Business Profile — Built Around Brands, Not Just Appliances
For a high-end repair company, the brand is the keyword. We mapped the profile to 14 core searches that mix general, local, and brand intent — from “appliance repair Irvine” to “Sub-Zero repair Irvine” and “Thermador appliance repair” — and tracked all of them on the local grid every month.
Services. Over three months we added 35 services to the profile, organized by brand (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Bosch, KitchenAid, GE Monogram) and by the equipment premium kitchens actually have: built-in refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, beverage coolers, rangetops, steam ovens, double ovens, warming drawers, range hoods, and induction and gas cooktops.
Business address. In August we added the company’s Irvine address to the profile. The listing now shows as an appliance repair service in Irvine, California, with a pin on the map and a Directions button — a strong local relevance signal that the profile had been missing.
Posts. Eight GBP posts a month, written the way a technician would explain a job: model-level diagnostics (“Wolf Oven Not Reaching Temperature”), repairs tied to specific cities (“Viking Sealed Brass Burner Sparking Issues in Dana Point”), and answers to the questions premium customers ask before they call (“You Approve the Price Before Any Work Starts”).
Photos. Ten photos per month from real jobs — built-in refrigerators opened up for service, pro-style ranges, technicians in branded uniforms in clients’ kitchens. The profile now carries 97 images.
Citations and data aggregators. Ten new directory listings every month (30 in total) plus a data aggregator submission each month. Existing listings with outdated information were updated, and the number of key citations with NAP errors dropped from 11 to 4.
Reddit content. Ten Reddit posts on topics homeowners actually search for: high-end appliance repair in Irvine, common Sub-Zero problems, signs a Wolf range needs service, why built-in appliances need a specialist.
Review replies. In August we rebuilt the instructions for the AI review autoresponder. Replies now pick up what the customer actually wrote — the appliance, the brand, the technician, the outcome — instead of generic thank-you lines.
Website SEO — Pages That Match How Premium Customers Search
Work on bristolappliancerepair.us started in July and ran in parallel with the GBP campaign.
Brand and model pages. Service pages were rewritten around the models customers own. The Thermador Oven Repair page, for example, walks through the lineup — Masterpiece, Professional, Symmetry, Steam and Convection — and the specific faults of each. Every page got its own title and meta description targeting brand-plus-location searches.
Internal linking. Brand hub pages now route visitors to the exact appliance — for Sub-Zero: refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, beverage cooler.
Technical fixes. Orphan pages, redirects, wrong URLs, H1 tags, doctype, and script loading were fixed, and image alt text was filled in. The site audit Health Score holds at 100.
New pages and content. A new About Us page, an FAQ section, three redesigned pages including Contacts, and a blog post on how Orange County’s hard water damages built-in refrigerators. Indexed pages grew from 59 to 79.
RESULTS
Local Search Grid: June → August → September 2026
Every one of the 14 tracked keywords now ranks on the local grid. In June, half of them didn’t show up at all.
| Keyword | June 2026 | Aug 2026 | Sep 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Appliance Repair Near Me | 20.8 | 5.7 | 7.2 |
| Appliance Repair Irvine | 20.5 | 4.5 | 4.5 |
| Refrigerator Repair Near Me | not ranking | 7.0 | 8.5 |
| Built-in Refrigerator Repair | 20.9 | 3.3 | 3.2 |
| Sub-Zero Repair Irvine | 18.0 | 1.8 | 2.4 |
| Sub-Zero Repair Near Me | not ranking | 7.2 | 7.2 |
| Sub-Zero Refrigerator Repair | not ranking | 8.7 | 7.6 |
| Miele Appliance Repair | 15.6 | 1.7 | 2.0 |
| KitchenAid Appliance Repair | not ranking | 2.2 | 1.9 |
| Thermador Appliance Repair | not ranking | 3.8 | 2.9 |
| Wolf Oven Repair | 19.6 | 6.2 | 6.4 |
| Wolf Range Repair | not ranking | 10.8 | 10.3 |
| Viking Range Repair | 10.7 | 7.1 | 5.7 |
| Viking Appliance Repair | not ranking | 13.9 | 12.3 |
By late September, four keywords sit in the local top 3 and six in the top 5. The broadest keyword, “Appliance Repair Near Me,” moved from 20.8 to 7.2. Most of the movement happened in August, right after the address went live; September held those gains, with Thermador, Viking, and Sub-Zero Refrigerator Repair still climbing.
Against the Competition
Among all businesses competing on the grid, Bristol now ranks #1 for “Miele Appliance Repair” and “KitchenAid Appliance Repair,” #2 for “Built-in Refrigerator Repair,” and top 3 for 9 of the 14 keywords. It does this with 39 backlinks from 18 domains and a website authority of 7/100, while the strongest competitor in the area has more than 13,600 links from 379 domains. That gap is exactly where the next stage of growth comes from.
Google Business Profile Performance
| Metric | June | July | August | Last 30 days (to Sep 23) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profile views | 155 | 243 | 878 | 1,002 |
| Website clicks | 13 | 20 | 18 | 29 |
| Calls | 3 | 9 | 8 | 13 |
| Direction requests | 0 | 3 | 49 | 69 |
| Total actions | 16 | 32 | 75 | 111 |
| Google reviews | 32 | 51 | 67 | 79 |
Monthly profile views grew from 155 to over 1,000, and total actions from 16 to 111. The biggest jump came in August, after we added the Irvine address: direction requests went from 3 to 49 in a single month, and desktop Maps views from 18 to 234. The latest 30 days kept that pace and brought the most calls of the whole campaign.
Reviews grew from 32 to 79, with the rating holding at 5.0. The newest ones name exactly the equipment the profile is built around — a KitchenAid built-in oven fixed with a same-day diagnostic, Thermador and True refrigerators, an over-the-range Viking microwave.
Local Authority
The Key Citation Score rose from 43 to 48/100: 14 key citations correct (up from 7) and NAP errors down from 11 to 4. In the Local Search Audit, Local Listings, GBP Audit, and On-Site SEO all moved from “OK” to “Good.”
Website: Search Console and Rankings
| Google Search Console (28 days) | July report | August report |
|---|---|---|
| Clicks | 37 | 42 |
| Impressions | 7.21K | 11.6K |
| Average position | 17.6 | 12.9 |
Across the 70 keywords we track for the site, average position improved from 45.9 to 14.2 during August alone, and the number of keywords in Google’s top 10 went from 4 to 17. The biggest movers are exactly the brand searches this business depends on:
| Keyword (Irvine, CA) | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| thermador repair near me | 100+ | 7 |
| miele technician | 100+ | 9 |
| kitchenaid oven repair | 97 | 8 |
| miele dishwasher repair near me | 59 | 6 |
| thermador repair | 51 | 6 |
| thermador oven repair | 49 | 9 |
| kitchenaid repair near me | 38 | 8 |
Semrush shows the same trajectory: organic keywords grew from 123 to 168, referring domains from 42 to 78, backlinks from 64 to 124, and the AI Visibility score went from 14 to 34, with the site now appearing in Google’s AI Mode answers.
SUMMARY
In under four months, Bristol Appliance Repair went from a well-reviewed but hard-to-find profile to consistent local visibility for the brands it services. All 14 tracked keywords now rank on the local grid — four of them in the top 3 and six in the top 5. Monthly profile views grew from 155 to over 1,000, total profile actions from 16 to 111, and reviews from 32 to 79.
What made the difference was matching the profile and the website to how premium customers actually search — by brand, by model, and by city — and backing that with steady monthly activity: 35 new services, weekly posts, real job photos, 30 new citations, the Irvine address on the profile, and website pages built around specific Thermador, Sub-Zero, Miele, and Wolf problems.
The campaign is ongoing. Links & Authority is still the weakest area in the audit, and the brand keywords are only now entering Google’s organic top 10. The next stage is local SEO link building and pushing the high-value brand searches from the top 10 into the top 3.
