Timeline:

January – June 2026

Irene Cleaning Service is a residential and commercial cleaning company in Grapevine, Texas, serving homes, apartments, offices, and vacation rentals across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. It’s a business where most customers find a cleaner the same way: they search on their phone, look at the three companies Google shows on the map, and call one of them.

When we started at the end of January 2026, the company already had a Google Business Profile, but it rarely made it into those map results:

Profile views per month 108

WHAT WE DID

Google Business Profile — Built Around the Jobs Customers Actually Book

We started from how people in DFW look for a cleaner: by the type of job they need and by where they live. The profile was mapped to 11 core searches, from broad “near me” searches to Grapevine-specific ones, and we checked every one of them on the local search grid each month.

Business address and verification. The profile was running as a service-area business with no address. We added the company’s Grapevine address and took the profile through verification. From April the listing shows as a house cleaning service in Grapevine, Texas, with a pin on the map and a Directions button. This gave Google a clear location to rank the business from, and it became the biggest single boost of the campaign.

Services. We added 30 services over four months, covering what customers really book: recurring maid service, one-time and spring cleaning, kitchen and bathroom deep cleaning, new construction cleaning, vacation rental turnovers, office and reception area cleaning, and smaller add-ons like refrigerator, blinds, closet organizing, patio furniture, and post-party cleanup. Each service gives the profile another way to match a specific request.

Posts and photos. Eight posts and ten photos every month, so the profile stays active and customers can see the kind of work they’re paying for before they call.

Reviews. We helped the company keep a steady flow of reviews from happy customers. Google reviews grew from 10 in March to 26 by the end of June, all at 5.0. In June we extended the same work to Facebook.

Citations and data aggregators. 45 new directory listings over three months, plus data aggregator submissions, all with the same name, address, and phone number. When the details match everywhere, Google has more reason to trust that the business is real and located where the profile says.

Educational content. 15 articles on community platforms that answer questions customers really ask: how a move-out cleaning helps get a security deposit back, what post-construction cleaning involves, how regular cleaning affects indoor air quality, and why eco-friendly products matter at home.

RESULTS

Google Local Pack: From 0 to 5 Keywords

The Local Pack is the block of three businesses Google shows on the map above the regular results, and it’s where most local calls come from. From January through March the profile didn’t appear there for a single tracked keyword. The first spot came in April, right after the address was verified. By June the profile was in the Local Pack for 5 of 12 keywords, a Local Pack coverage of 41.7%.

Local Search Grid: March → June 2026

The grid checks the profile’s map position from many points across the service area, so it shows how visible the business is to customers in different neighborhoods, not just from one spot.

In March, only one tracked keyword averaged a map position under 7. By June, 8 of 11 did. “Cleaning service near me” went from 13.6 to 5.6, “house cleaning near me” from 15.9 to 5.7, and “office cleaning near me” from 20.0 to 6.1. “Apartment cleaning near me” didn’t rank at all in March and now averages 6.2.

In Grapevine itself, the company now averages 1.1 for house cleaning and 1.2 for cleaning service searches, which means it shows up first on the map almost everywhere in town.

Google Business Profile Performance

Metric Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun
Profile views 108 172 115 246 203 225
Website clicks 8 20 12 28 39 31
Calls 2 3 2 4 10 6
Direction requests 14 47 0 57 61 54
Total actions 24 70 14 89 110 91

Each column is a 30-day reporting period. In the three months before the address went live, the profile averaged 132 views and 36 actions a month. From April to June it averaged 225 views and 97 actions, nearly three times as many. Website clicks more than doubled, from 40 to 98 over three months, and calls grew from 7 to 20.

March was the low point: while the address was being added and verified, the profile had no Directions button at all. Once verification went through, direction requests came back at 54–61 a month and stayed there.

Local Authority

The business is now listed in 25 of the 39 key directories BrightLocal checks, up from 1, with 80 live citations in total and no NAP errors on the key listings. In the Local Search Audit, Rank Tracker, GBP Audit, and On-Site SEO all moved to “Good.” In January the first two were rated “Poor” and On-Site SEO was “OK.”

SUMMARY

In five months, Irene Cleaning Service went from a profile Google rarely showed on the map to a regular spot in the Local Pack. It now appears there for 5 of 12 tracked keywords, up from none, and 8 of 11 core searches average a map position under 7. Monthly profile actions nearly tripled, and Google reviews grew from 10 to 26 at a perfect 5.0.

The turning point was the verified Grapevine address, but it worked because the profile was ready for it: 30 services matching real jobs, fresh posts and photos every month, consistent listings across 45 new directories, and helpful content that answers customers’ questions. That’s the approach we use for cleaning companies: build the profile around the jobs people actually book, then make sure Google can trust where the business is.

The campaign is ongoing. Links & Authority is still rated “Poor” in the audit, and broader searches like commercial and bathroom cleaning still have room to grow. The next stage of local SEO is building authority and moving more keywords into the top 3.
